Terms of Service

Cresta La Cultura operates this artist platform — the web app you sign in to — so our artists can submit releases, manage credits and splits, track status, and view statements. We may add, change or remove features to keep it working and improving. These terms sit alongside, and do not replace, your signed artist agreement.

• Access to the platform is by invitation. Accept your invite from the email address it was sent to.
• You must be at least 18, or have a legal guardian who signs your artist agreement on your behalf.
• You’re responsible for keeping your login safe. Anything done from your account is on you, so let us know immediately if you think it has been compromised.
• One account per person. Bands and groups use a single artist profile created by the label and add their members as collaborators on releases.

You keep ownership of every recording, lyric, composition, artwork and likeness you upload. By uploading, you grant Cresta La Cultura the licence set out in your signed artist agreement — the rights we need to manufacture, distribute, market and account for the releases that agreement covers.

You confirm that you hold the rights to grant that licence, that your content does not infringe anyone else’s rights, and that everyone you credit (featured artists, producers, writers, contributors) has agreed to their credit and their split.

Don’t upload, or use the platform for:

• Anything that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, image or moral rights.
• Samples or interpolations that aren’t properly cleared.
• Content that is defamatory, harassing, or attacks people for who they are.
• Anything that depicts or sexualises minors.
• Content that promotes terrorism or specific acts of violence.
• Attempts to disrupt, probe or scrape the platform, or to access data that isn’t yours.

Every release goes through a label review before it is delivered. We may ask you to fix something, or in rare cases decline to release a track — you’ll always get a written reason. Once a release has been delivered to streaming services, removing it follows each store’s takedown process and isn’t instant.

Royalties are paid according to your signed artist agreement. The platform shows statements once accounting has confirmed them; the agreement — not the on-screen display — governs the amounts and timing.

The platform relies on, and links to, third-party services (streaming stores, distribution and analytics partners). We are not responsible for those services or their content, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

We aim to keep the platform available around the clock but can’t promise zero downtime; maintenance and incidents are communicated where reasonable. We may suspend or close your access if you breach these terms or your artist agreement, if we’re legally required to, or if your account is compromised. Closing your platform account does not, by itself, end your artist agreement, which has its own termination rules.

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cresta La Cultura is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Cresta La Cultura L.L.C-FZ is registered in the Meydan Free Zone, Dubai (Licence No. 2646168), whose courts and authorities have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you have under your local law.

We may update these terms. Material updates will be flagged inside the platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the platform after that period means you accept the updates.
